Bandsalat Studio ist datensparsam gebaut: kein Nutzerkonto, kein Tracking, keine Werbung, keine Analyse-Cookies. Verarbeitet wird nur, was für Betrieb, Lizenzprüfung und die von Ihnen genutzten Funktionen erforderlich ist.
Die App wird über Cloudflare Pages/Workers bereitgestellt; Regal- und Lizenz-Cache-Daten liegen in Cloudflare KV. Anbieter: Cloudflare, Inc., USA / Cloudflare Germany GmbH. Beim Aufruf verarbeitet Cloudflare technisch notwendige Verbindungsdaten (u. a. IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, abgerufene Ressource) zur Auslieferung und Absicherung. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b und f DSGVO (Bereitstellung, Sicherheit). Mit Cloudflare besteht ein Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag; Übermittlungen in die USA stützen sich auf das EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework bzw. Standardvertragsklauseln.
Käufe werden über Polar als „Merchant of Record" abgewickelt (Polar Software Inc.). Polar ist für den Kaufvorgang eigenständiger Verantwortlicher und verarbeitet hierfür Bestell-, Zahlungs- und Rechnungsdaten sowie Ihre E-Mail-Adresse (Schlüsselversand, Kundenportal). Es gilt ergänzend die Datenschutzerklärung von Polar. Für die Lizenzprüfung übermittelt unser Server den eingegebenen Lizenzschlüssel an Polar (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO).
Nach Freischaltung wird der Lizenzschlüssel als technisch notwendiges HttpOnly-Cookie („cg_lic") gespeichert, damit Sie angemeldet bleiben. Prüfergebnisse werden kurzzeitig serverseitig zwischengespeichert (Cache bis 24 h). Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO; § 25 Abs. 2 TDDDG (unbedingt erforderlich). Es werden keine weiteren Cookies gesetzt.
Stellen Sie Projekte in das private Regal (Gold/Platin), werden Projektdaten (Titel, Trackliste, Gestaltung, ggf. Coverbild) Ihrem Lizenzschlüssel zugeordnet in Cloudflare KV gespeichert, um sie geräteübergreifend bereitzustellen (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Speicherdauer: für die Vertragslaufzeit; nach Abo-Ende Löschung nach ca. 30 Tagen. Das Regal ist kein Backup-Dienst – bitte nutzen Sie die lokalen Exportfunktionen.
Von Ihnen bewusst veröffentlichte Einträge (Titel, Trackliste, Gestaltung, neutrales Motiv) sind für alle Nutzer der App sichtbar (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO). Eine namentliche Nennung als Kurator:in erfolgt nur auf Ihren Wunsch (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO, jederzeit widerruflich). Löschung eigener Einträge jederzeit in der App oder per Nachricht an uns.
Für Album-Suche und Cover-Abruf fragt unser Server MusicBrainz und das Cover Art Archive an; für den Playlist-Import ruft unser Server die von Ihnen eingegebene Playlist-Adresse (z. B. Apple Music) ab. Dabei wird Ihre Suchanfrage bzw. die URL serverseitig verarbeitet; Ihre IP-Adresse wird gegenüber diesen Diensten durch unseren Server abgeschirmt (Proxy). Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
Die App bindet Schriften von Google Fonts ein (Google Ireland Ltd.); dabei wird Ihre IP-Adresse an Google übermittelt (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO – einheitliches Schriftbild).
Der Prüfstand (Platin) nutzt nach Ihrer ausdrücklichen Browser-Freigabe den Audio-Eingang. Die Auswertung erfolgt vollständig lokal in Ihrem Browser; es werden keine Audiodaten an uns oder Dritte übertragen.
In künftigen Versionen können Sie optional eine KI-gestützte Auswertung Ihres Regals anfordern (z. B. Musikvorschläge, Sammlungs-Statistiken). Eine solche Auswertung startet ausschließlich auf Ihre aktive Anforderung. Dabei werden Regal-Metadaten (Titel, Künstler, Format – keine Zahlungs- oder Kontaktdaten) an einen KI-Dienstleister übermittelt; vorgesehen ist Anthropic (Anthropic, PBC, USA; Übermittlung auf Grundlage von Standardvertragsklauseln bzw. Data Privacy Framework) als Auftragsverarbeiter. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b bzw. a DSGVO. Solange Sie die Funktion nicht nutzen, findet keine solche Übermittlung statt.
Sie haben die Rechte auf Auskunft (Art. 15), Berichtigung (Art. 16), Löschung (Art. 17), Einschränkung (Art. 18), Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20) und Widerspruch gegen Verarbeitungen auf Grundlage von Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (Art. 21). Erteilte Einwilligungen können Sie jederzeit mit Wirkung für die Zukunft widerrufen. Wenden Sie sich an: [email protected]. Zudem besteht ein Beschwerderecht bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde (Art. 77 DSGVO).
Auftragsverarbeiter/Partner: Cloudflare (Hosting, Speicher), Polar (Zahlungsabwicklung als Merchant of Record, insoweit eigenverantwortlich), künftig optional Anthropic (KI-Auswertung, nur bei aktiver Nutzung). Weitere Empfänger nur, soweit gesetzlich verpflichtet.
Diese Erklärung wird bei Funktionsänderungen angepasst; es gilt die jeweils hier veröffentlichte Fassung.

Bandsalat Studio is built to be data-minimal: no user account, no tracking, no advertising, no analytics cookies. We only process what is required for operation, license verification and the features you actually use.
The app is delivered via Cloudflare Pages/Workers; shelf and license-cache data are stored in Cloudflare KV. Provider: Cloudflare, Inc., USA / Cloudflare Germany GmbH. When you access the app, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (including IP address, time, requested resource) for delivery and security. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR (provision, security). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare; transfers to the USA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Purchases are processed by Polar as merchant of record (Polar Software Inc.). For the purchase, Polar acts as an independent controller and processes order, payment and invoicing data as well as your e-mail address (key delivery, customer portal). Polar's privacy policy applies in addition. For license verification, our server transmits the license key you enter to Polar (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
After activation, your license key is stored as a strictly necessary HttpOnly cookie ("cg_lic") so you stay signed in. Verification results are cached server-side for a short time (up to 24 h). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR; § 25 (2) TDDDG (strictly necessary). No other cookies are set.
If you place projects on the private shelf (Gold/Platin), project data (title, track list, design, cover image if any) are stored in Cloudflare KV linked to your license key so they are available across your devices (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Storage period: for the term of your subscription; deletion approx. 30 days after the subscription ends. The shelf is not a backup service – please use the local export functions.
Entries you deliberately publish (title, track list, design, neutral artwork) are visible to all users of the app (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). You are named as curator only at your request (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, revocable at any time). You can delete your own entries at any time in the app or by contacting us.
For album search and cover retrieval, our server queries MusicBrainz and the Cover Art Archive; for playlist import, our server fetches the playlist address you enter (e.g. Apple Music). Your search query or URL is processed server-side; your IP address is shielded from these services by our server (proxy). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
The app loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.); in the process, your IP address is transmitted to Google (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR – consistent typography).
The test bench (Platin) uses your audio input only after your explicit permission in the browser. All analysis happens entirely locally in your browser; no audio data are transmitted to us or to third parties.
In future versions you may optionally request an AI-supported analysis of your shelf (e.g. music suggestions, collection statistics). Such analysis starts only at your active request. Shelf metadata (title, artist, format – no payment or contact data) are transmitted to an AI service provider; Anthropic (Anthropic, PBC, USA; transfer based on Standard Contractual Clauses or the Data Privacy Framework) is envisaged as processor. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) or (a) GDPR. As long as you do not use this feature, no such transfer takes place.
You have the rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Contact: [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
Processors/partners: Cloudflare (hosting, storage), Polar (payment processing as merchant of record, acting on its own responsibility in that respect), in future optionally Anthropic (AI analysis, only when actively used). Other recipients only where legally required.
